
A 55-year-old Swedish man has been charged with fraud and falsifying data for allegedly placing his lifeless companion in a freezer and cashing in her pension.
The Swedish Prosecution Authority stated the person, who was not named, carried out « systematic » fraud involving round 1.3m kronor (£93,000).
He had instructed investigators he put the Norwegian lady in a freezer after discovering her lifeless of their residence.
The 2 lived in Arjang, round 211 miles west of the capital Stockholm.
