Singer Ronan Keating’s brother Ciaran has been killed in a automotive crash in Co Mayo.
It’s understood Mr Keating’s spouse was injured within the incident.
His son performs for Cork Metropolis. The soccer membership mentioned on Twitter that it was « deeply saddened on the passing of Ciaran Keating, father of our participant Ruairí Keating ».
Cork Metropolis mentioned: « We prolong our deepest sympathies to Ruairi and your complete Keating household at this exceptionally tough time.
« We ask that the household’s privateness be revered. Funeral preparations might be confirmed in the end.

The 2-vehicle accident occurred on the N5 at Ballymiles, close to Swinford, at about 3.35pm on Saturday.
The driving force of the opposite automobile was critically injured and brought to Mayo College Hospital.
